Who is this training for
This training is targeting programmers looking for a method to build a development project from scratch using an IDE and an Arm Cortex®-M microcontroller. Through several exercises, we aim to explain the different stages of project setup, as well as the successive stacking of libraries. To fully benefit from this training, good knowledge of C programming is required.
Educational Objectives
Learn how to build an Arm Cortex®-M microcontroller project, understand software layer stacking, use the HAL (Hardware Abstraction Layer) library for STM32, and interface the STM32CubeMX tool with your compilation chain.
You will learn through practical exercises how to:
- Create a project and analyze the default project files
- Set up the basic libraries core_cm7.h and stm32f7.h
- Set up the CMSIS HAL library
- Set up the BSP (Board Support Package) and use the LCD screen
- Interface the STM32CubeMX project with your IDE
