The STEVAL-ICB009V1 demonstration board is a flexible, compact, ready-to-use add-on board based on the STM8T142 (or the STM8T143), and is intended to provide a platform for touch /proximity detection study and implementation.
The board includes an embedded “printed” electrode as the sensitive detection area. It can be interfaced with any ST MCU evaluation board that is equipped with a double male strip line connector as the MCU interface, allowing fast device evaluation.
The STEVAL-ICB009V1 has been tested with the STM3210B-EVAL, STM3210C-EVAL, STM3210E-EVAL and STM32100B-EVAL evaluation boards, developed for evaluating the STM32 microcontroller.
The embedded electrode and connector for the STEVAL-ICB009V1 can be easily removed and replaced with an external user-selected electrode.
