This evolution will reduce wire‑harness size, improve scalability, and optimize the number of MCUs. It is particularly well suited to domains with topological symmetry, such as body, powertrain, and chassis, or in application as Smart Power Distribution. The Zonal Control Unit (ZCU) can act as AI edge terminal. It is close enough to facilitate the control and coordination of sensors and actuators connected to the zonal MCU.
